Our Front Office Staff:

Eric Pavlovsky, our Office Manager, came to Shoal Creek from a career in both the finance industry and the Army. Eric and his wife (who is a student at the University of Georgia Veterinary College) have a menagerie of four dogs and two cats.

Ember Epperson, our newest member of the front office staff, is a native of Tennessee. Ember is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology and plans to attend veterinary medical school.

Angie Dordigan is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Home Economics and Journalism. Angie recently celebrated her 10 year anniversary as an employee with Shoal Creek Animal Clinic. When not working at the clinic, Angie is busy in her second career as a licensed Realtor and also enjoys puzzles of all kinds and is an avid student of American cinema.

Our Veterinary Assistants:

Marsha Mitchell, our Senior Veterinary Assistant, received her AS degree in Animal Technology from Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, FL.

Gina Lang is a native of the Athens area. She graduated from Oconee County High School, and attended the University of Georgia. Gina shares, “After spending many years in retail management, I’ve found my true calling as a veterinary assistant.”

Lauren Beck graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Microbiology. She spends her free time running and hiking, and plans to attend the University of Georgia Veterinary College.

Emily Smith is a native of Mississippi and an undergraduate at UGA. When not studying she enjoys spending time with her Boxer and two cats.

Amy Schwerzel is a Biology major at the University of Georgia and volunteers with Bear Hollow, the Georgia Aquarium, and a local Girl Scout troop

Desiree Taylor is a Biological Science and Avian Biology major who devotes her spare time to the Big Brother Big Sister and Habitat for Humanity programs.

Also an Avian Biology major, Beth Anne Woodward’s interests include wild animal rescue and outdoor activities.

Emily Wallace is a sophomore at the University of Georgia majoring in Biological Science.
